Overview

Dlinkzo WorkHub is an escrow-secured marketplace that connects Clients with Freelancers and Business / Agency partners. Every engagement is governed by a Scope of Work (SoW), milestone schedule, and a transparent on-platform ledger. The policies below apply to every account type and are enforced through the platform, admin panel and dispute workflow.

By creating a project, funding escrow, submitting a proposal or accepting an engagement, all parties agree to be bound by these policies.

Client Policy

  • Clients must complete KYC and add a valid bank account (Normal / Savings) before withdrawing funds.
  • Funds must be deposited into project escrow before a freelancer can begin billable work.
  • Clients are expected to review and approve each milestone within 5 business days of submission, or raise a formal dispute within that window.
  • Deliberate refusal to review, or vexatious rejections without cause, may result in admin release of the milestone.
  • Clients may not solicit off-platform payments or contact — doing so voids escrow protection and the Dlinkzo guarantee.

Freelancer Policy

  • Freelancers must complete KYC (Government ID) to receive verified badge and withdraw funds.
  • Bank account type: Savings or Normal is mandatory for withdrawals.
  • Every milestone carries a promised delivery date. Late deliveries are automatically logged against your performance record.
  • Repeated failure to deliver on time reduces your public Trust Score and increments the "Delayed / Failed Projects" counter visible on your public portfolio.
  • Platform commission is 10% of each released milestone, deducted at payout.
  • Any attempt to bypass escrow, misrepresent identity, plagiarise deliverables, or resell client IP is grounds for immediate suspension and forfeiture of pending balances.

Business / Agency Policy

  • Business accounts require a valid Current bank account for withdrawals.
  • Businesses may operate a hiring workspace with up to 5 freelancers per engagement.
  • The workspace owner is responsible for the deliverables promised to the end client and for on-time milestone approvals to their contracted freelancers.
  • Business accounts must upload a company brochure (PDF) and are encouraged to complete Gov-ID verification for the "Verified Business" badge.
  • Sub-contracting outside the workspace or misusing client data violates this policy and the platform Terms of Use.

Refund Policy

Dlinkzo WorkHub operates an escrow-first refund model. Funds held in escrow are always traceable and refundable subject to the rules below.

1. Project cancelled before work begins

If the freelancer or business has not started billable work and no milestone has been submitted, 100% of the escrow balance is refunded to the client's Dlinkzo Wallet, minus payment gateway fees where applicable.

2. Dlinkzo-side failure to complete the project

If Dlinkzo, through an assigned freelancer or partner, fails to deliver the agreed scope and the project is officially closed as failed by the admin panel, a service & handling charge of ₹600 is retained by the platform and the entire remaining escrow balance is credited back to the client's wallet within 3–5 business days.

3. Freelancer failure to complete a milestone on time

  • The milestone is reopened for re-submission for a grace period defined in the SoW (default 48 hours).
  • If still not delivered, the client can either (a) request a full refund of the unreleased milestone amount, or (b) hire another freelancer / business from Dlinkzo to complete the project using the same escrow.
  • The failed milestone is publicly reflected on the freelancer's performance dashboard and lowers their Trust Score.

4. Fraud, breach of policy or safety violation

If a party is found — with supporting evidence from the Dlinkzo dashboard, milestone history and audit logs — to have committed fraud or a serious policy breach, the admin panel will:

  • Suspend the offending account,
  • Refund 100% of the remaining escrow to the affected client,
  • Forfeit any pending payouts on the offending account,
  • Optionally list the violation on the public portfolio (freelancer/business) for transparency.

5. Wallet withdrawal refunds

Wallet withdrawals are processed only after admin approval and to the pre-verified bank account of the correct type for the account (Current for Business, Savings/Normal for Freelancer, Normal for Client). Withdrawals that fail at the bank level are re-credited to the wallet automatically within 7 business days.

Refund requests submitted more than 30 days after a milestone is released or a project is marked completed are generally not entertained, except in verified fraud cases.

Dispute & Fraud Policy

Where to find your evidence. Every claim below can be substantiated from your own account:
  1. Raise a dispute from the project page. Attach proof — chat transcripts, delivered files, milestone history, dashboard screenshots.
  2. Both parties are notified and given 72 hours to submit their evidence through the workspace.
  3. The Dlinkzo admin panel reviews the milestone timeline, SoW, deliverables and platform audit log, and decides one of: refund, release, or partial release.
  4. The client may, at any point during or after a dispute, choose to hire another freelancer or business from Dlinkzo to complete the remaining scope using the same escrow balance.
  5. Confirmed fraud, IP theft, harassment or platform circumvention results in permanent suspension and may be referred to law enforcement.

Trust Score & Performance Dashboard

Every Freelancer and Business account has a public performance dashboard on their portfolio (open /u/<username>#performance for the live numbers, or your own Performance panel). It shows:

  • Successful projects
  • In-progress projects
  • Delayed / failed projects (auto-updated by the platform)
  • Cancelled projects
  • Average client rating — visible at /u/<username>#ratings
  • Trust Score (0–100) — computed from completion rate (60%), rating (30%) and on-time delivery (10%).

Trust Scores are recalculated after every milestone approval and cannot be edited manually. Restoration is only possible through consistent successful delivery.

Payments & Wallet Policy

  • All in-platform balances are denominated in INR.
  • Deposits to the wallet require admin approval and are credited within 24 hours of verification.
  • Withdrawals require admin approval and settle to your verified bank account within 3–5 business days.
  • Escrow deposits are held in a segregated ledger against each project and released only on client milestone approval or admin resolution.
  • Platform commission (10%) is deducted at milestone release from the freelancer / business payout.

Privacy Policy

Dlinkzo WorkHub collects only the information required to operate the marketplace: profile details, KYC documents, payment instruments, project content and platform activity logs.

  • KYC documents are stored in a private bucket and visible only to the account owner and Dlinkzo admin reviewers.
  • Public portfolio fields (name, headline, bio, city, skills, ratings, portfolio items) are visible to any signed-in user.
  • Bank account numbers are masked in the UI and never displayed to counterparties.
